How good is the sound insulation — can people outside hear me?
In a normal office, no one outside will understand a word you say. Someone standing right next to the pod might catch a faint murmur — nothing more. Six-layer wall construction, laminated acoustic glass, compressed door seals and acoustic sound traps in the ventilation ducts close every path sound could take.
How long does installation take?
Poddie Phone installs in about an hour. Larger pods take a few hours. All installs scheduled as a single visit. One business day, minimal disruption for you and your team.
Does the installation require a building permit?
No. Poddie pods are freestanding furniture, not building structures — they do not require a building permit.
Is there a warranty, and what is the lifespan of a pod?
Every Poddie comes with a flat 24-month warranty. We don't quote a fixed lifespan figure, because these pods are built to outlast one — solid materials, robust construction, and engineered to keep performing for years. And if a moving part ever wears out, you don't need to worry: we routinely supply replacements for the most commonly serviced components and help you get them fitted. Built to last, and easy to keep going.
That all looks great — what's the catch?
We get this question a lot. Poddie pods cost noticeably less than comparable booths — because we are the manufacturer and sell directly to you. No importers, no dealers, no showroom chains taking their cut along the way. Best materials and acoustics — just a shorter route from our factory to your office. There is no catch. There is just no middleman.
02
Products, sizes & configuration
What is the difference between a Poddie and its Pro version?
The same pod, more control. Every Pro model — Poddie Phone Pro, Sit Pro, Work Pro, Meet 2 Pro, Meet 4 Pro — builds on the same construction and acoustics as its counterpart. Pro adds an inside-wall touchscreen, dimmable lighting, adjustable airflow, a retractable USB-C cable, and the full colour range. Poddie Meet 6, Connect and Conference come in Pro version only.
What add-ons and configurations are available?
Each pod has add-on options to fit it to your team — Moving-Kit wheels, monitor brackets and screens, ergonomic seating, privacy film. Specific availability depends on the model.
What color customisation options are available?
Pro models come in 5 exterior and 4 interior colours. Standard models come in 2 exterior colours with 1 interior finish.
Can I mount my own monitor or video hardware inside the pod?
Yes. Poddie pods can be fitted with our height-adjustable VESA monitor bracket, and we offer 17.3”, 27” and 43” displays (27” and 43” also with additional webcams) as add-ons. If you already own a VESA-compatible screen, it mounts on the same bracket. Power is right there — every pod has 230 V sockets inside.

Buying & ordering
Where can I see or try a pod in person?
You can visit any of the showrooms listed here.
How do I order — what is the buying process?
Two ways, whichever suits you. Request a quote or buy online in a few clicks for a fast, straightforward order — or call our sales team for a bespoke, guided process where we help you configure the right pod for your space and needs. Either route ends the same way: your pod delivered and installed by our technicians.
Do you offer leasing or financing?
Not yet, but it's in the works. Ask our sales team about current options for your order.
Can I buy a Poddie for my home?
Of course. Most Poddies stand in offices, but nothing stops you from putting one in a home, a studio or a waiting area. Check two things before ordering: ceiling height (pods are around 226 cm tall, plus clearance for installation) and the route to the room — pods arrive as flat-pack panels, so they fit through standard doorways and can be assembled on site.
How many pods does my office need?
One focus pod (Phone, Sit or Work) per 10–12 people in an open-plan office, plus meeting pods based on how your team actually meets — a Meet 2 or Meet 4 replaces a small meeting room, a Meet 6 or Conference replaces a full one. Booked-out pods and meeting rooms are the usual sign you need more. Our sales team will happily look at your floor plan and headcount and give you a concrete recommendation.
04
Delivery & installation
How is delivery handled?
Delivered as easy-to-handle flat-pack boxes and assembled on site by our technicians, typically in a single visit. Standard lead time 4-5 weeks from order, depending on configuration.
What is the typical lead time from order to install?
4-5 weeks from order to install is standard. Lead time depends on configuration — ask our team for specifics when discussing your quote.
How disruptive is installation?
Installation takes a single visit — about an hour for Poddie Phone, a few hours for larger pods. Your office will be barely affected — no drilling, no demolition, no dust, no construction crew for weeks.
Do the pods need special wiring or building modifications?
No structural modifications. Each pod plugs into a standard 230 V office outlet — no dedicated circuit, no water connection, no HVAC ducting, no ceiling work.
Can I assemble the pod myself?
Poddie One and Poddie Phone are designed for self-assembly. Delivered in clearly-marked flat-pack boxes with an instruction guide. No specialist tools — basic screwdriver level. Typically takes 1-2 hours for two people. A technician install is also available if preferred.
Do I need heavy equipment or tools to install or move the pod?
No heavy machinery. An electric drill/driver is advised to manage screws faster. When the booth is on the Moving-Kit, all you need is to push it to its new location.
05
Placement & space planning
Where can I place a Poddie pod — does the floor need anything special?
Any standard office floor works. Pods weigh between 300 kg (Poddie Phone) and 950 kg (Poddie Conference) — within the load tolerance of typical commercial floors. No reinforcement or special prep required.
How much space do I need to install a pod?
Three numbers to check before you pick the spot: a ceiling height of at least 250 cm, 40 cm of working clearance on each side of the pod, and 110 cm in front. Once the pod is assembled, it can stand closer to walls — the clearance is for our technicians' elbows, not the pod.
Ceiling height: min. 250 cm
Side clearance: 40 cm (each side)
Front clearance: 110 cm
Ceiling height: min. 250 cm

Front clearance: 110 cm
How much clearance does a pod need around it?
Very little. Ventilation runs through the ceiling and floor modules, so pods can stand close to walls and next to each other — just leave room for the door to swing open. During installation itself you'll temporarily need more space around the pod.
Can multiple pods be combined or arranged together for larger zones?
Yes. Multiple pods can be arranged side-by-side or in clusters to create dedicated zones — a row of Poddie Phone booths along a wall, a Meet 4 + Meet 6 combination for a meeting area. Each pod remains independent, no shared structure.
06
Moving & relocation
How does the Moving-Kit work?
Gliders and heavy-duty rollers sit in the base of compatible pods. A few turns of a screwdriver raise the pod onto its rollers — push it to its new spot, screw it back down, done. No disassembly, no lifting equipment, no contractor.
Which models support the Moving-Kit?
Smaller pods are designed for Moving-Kit use: Poddie One, Phone, Sit, Work, Meet 2, Meet 4. Larger pods (Meet 6, Connect, Conference) can also be relocated — but require disassembly and rebuilding at the new spot.
How many people are needed to reposition the pod?
On the Moving-Kit, the wheels carry the whole load — repositioning is about gentle steering, not lifting. One person can roll the smaller pods; for larger models and longer routes we recommend two, simply for safe manoeuvring around corners and furniture.
Will the Moving-Kit damage office flooring?
No damage on carpet or vinyl flooring. The wheels are soft-roller design, made for most office surfaces.
Can the pod be repositioned in the office later?
Yes for smaller pods (Poddie One, Phone, Sit, Work, Meet 2, Meet 4) with the optional Moving-Kit. Larger pods (Meet 6, Connect, Conference) are designed for more permanent placement and require couple hours of disassembly before moving to a new spot.
07
Power & connectivity
How much energy do the pods use?
Poddie pods are efficient. Every model plugs into a standard 230V outlet and draws just 5W on standby. Maximum draw is 66W for Poddie Phone and Sit, 76W for Phone Pro and Sit Pro, and 80W for Poddie Work, Meet 2, Meet 4. Poddie Meet 6 and Connect draw 115W and Poddie Conference 150W. No dedicated circuit or electrical upgrade needed.
Does Wi-Fi and mobile signal work inside the pod?
Yes — Wi-Fi and mobile signal work reliably inside the pod. You stay connected for calls, video meetings, and everything else, just as you would at your desk. And if you prefer a wired connection, LAN comes as standard in Pro models and is available as an add-on for all others.
What power outlets and ports are inside the pod?
It depends on the model. Every pod comes with mains power plus USB-C charging; Pro models add a USB-A socket, a USB-C socket, and a 100cm retractable USB-C cable (65W). The mains socket is a Bachmann Pix unit matched to your country (Type F Schuko for DE/AT/NL/LUX, Type E for BE/FR, Type J for CH), all 230V/50Hz. Smaller pods have one power socket; Poddie Work, Meet 2, Meet 4 and larger have two. See the product spec sheet for the exact configuration per model.
Can I order the pod with an Ethernet (LAN) connection?
Yes — Pro models include a LAN port as standard. For all other models, LAN is available as an add-on — just add it when configuring your pod.
08
Lighting, ventilation & comfort
How does ventilation work?
Built-in fans push fresh air in and pull stale air out continuously. The full air volume cycles every 3 - 4 minutes (depending on the pod). Fully self-contained — no external duct or installation required.
Do the lights and ventilation turn on automatically (motion sensor)?
Yes. Lighting and ventilation activate automatically when you enter the pod — no switches to find, it's ready the moment you step in.
How much noise do the fans make?
Barely anything. Ventilation runs as a soft hum you'll almost never notice — anti-vibration bearing fans hidden inside the walls keep airflow constant and quiet. The result is perfect acoustic comfort: fresh air without the distraction.
What kind of lighting do the pods have?
Every Poddie has layered lighting: ceiling LED bars delivering 500 lux of bright, even light at the desk — comfortably above the standard for focused work (larger pods carry two or three bars) — plus ambient lighting running along the back wall for depth and atmosphere. High colour rendering (CRI >90) means screens, paper and faces look the way they should. Pro models make it all adjustable: dimmable brightness and colour temperature from warm 2000 K to neutral 4000 K, controlled from the touchscreen.
Is the lighting suitable for video calls?
Yes — every pod's 500-lux ceiling light keeps you clearly visible on camera. Poddie Phone Pro and Sit Pro go a step further with a dedicated video call light: a separate LED bar that puts your face in clear, even light (1000 lux, CRI >90), with brightness and colour temperature adjustable from the touchscreen. No shadows, no washed-out webcam look — built for the pods where solo video calls happen most.
Can I adjust the lighting?
In Pro models, fully: ceiling and ambient light are dimmable, with colour temperature from warm 2000 K to neutral 4000 K. Choose one of the preset modes or use My Setup to dial in your own light. Other models ship with fixed, well-tuned lighting at 4000 K.
What are the preset modes on the Pro touchscreen?
Every Pro model has ready-made lighting modes, one tap away. Phone Pro and Sit Pro come with Work, Videocall and Relax: Work sets bright ceiling and ambient light for focus, Videocall adds the dedicated video call light so you look your best on camera, Relax dims the ceiling and leaves the warm ambient glow. Meeting pods come with Meet and Relax — full light for the conversation, soft light for the break. And if none of them fits, My Setup lets you set brightness and colour temperature exactly how you like, and keeps it for next time.
09
Safety, materials & sustainability
Are the pods fire-safe?
Yes. B1-certified board material (EN 13501-1) is available on request. The certified boards come in anthracite and white — so if your building requires a fire rating, choose one of these two exterior colours.
Where are the pods manufactured?
In our own modern manufacturing facility near Poznań, Poland — where the pods are designed, built, and quality-checked before they reach you.
How sustainable are the pods?
Sustainability isn't a feature we added — it's how we build, where we build, and how long it lasts. PEFC-certified wood with around 70% recycled content, acoustic felt made of 40% recycled PET bottles, production in our own factory in Poland with materials sourced regionally, and a modular design where you replace the part — not the booth. The full picture is in our Responsibility Report, free to download.
What materials are the pods made of?
The core is PEFC-certified wood board with 66–72% recycled content. The interior acoustic felt is made of 40% recycled PET bottles — and is fully recyclable again at the end of its life. Glass, aluminum and felt all come from Poland; wood from Poland and Germany. Short routes, known sources.
What happens when something wears out — can the pod be repaired?
That's the point of how we build. Fans, LED lighting, sockets and the floor carpet can all be swapped out, and magnetic top panels give quick access for service. When something wears out, you replace the part — not the booth. Just get in touch with our support team — keeping your Poddie running well is part of the deal.
